OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission added two additional Oklahoma City claims processing events next week, as this week’s events have reached maximum capacity.

Upcoming events at the Reed Conference Center, 5800 Will Rogers Road in Midwest City, include:

Thursday, July 2 - all time slots filled but passes for next week’s events will be handed out throughout the day

Monday, July 6 - Capacity of 500 with passes for future events handed out throughout the day

Tuesday, July 7 - Capacity of 500 with passes for future events handed out throughout the day

Wednesday, July 8 - Capacity of 500 with passes for future events handed out throughout the day

Thursday, July 9 - Capacity of 500

All events will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Details for additional claim processing events in Tulsa will be announced next week.

“Our top priority is getting Oklahomans the benefits they need as quickly as possible,” said OESC Interim Executive Director Shelley Zumwalt. “We are committed to processing as many of the remaining claims as possible over the next five days in a safe, socially-distanced manner.”

OESC will be able to serve approximately 500 claimants per day at the Reed Center. There will be indoor, socially-distanced waiting areas for claimants after they check in.

OESC is encouraging claimants to begin lining up at 6 a.m., as lining up overnight is strictly prohibited by the municipality of Midwest City. Public transportation stops are located less than a mile from the Reed Center. More information on available routes can be found at https://embarkok.com/use/system-map

OESC will be able to process many types of claims at these events, including the following:

PUA - filed once and locked out; PUA - never filed; Credit card never received; Fraudulent claims; Language or technological assistance; UI; Initial claim filing assistance

Staff members from Conduent will be working with the OESC Fraud and Credit Card teams on in-person and overnight payments for applicable cases.
