Nine Out of 10 Most Wanted Captured

OKLAHOMA CITY – A ninth fugitive on Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s 10 Most Wanted is behind bars after being arrested in Michigan. Nicholas Armando Roman, 20, who is accused of indecent or lewd acts with a child, was captured days after he was added to the list.

We had a quiet week at the Watonga Senior Citizens Center this week. We were closed on Monday, February 17 for Presidents’ Day and were open the rest of the week, even though temperatures did not get above freezing.

Visitors to the Blaine County Courthouse can now expect to have a deputy run a metal detecting wand over their person. The move is an effort to keep personnel and visitors to the facility safe.

Wand Now the Norm at Courthouse Entrances

Expect a new step toward courthouse security next time you visit. A deputy is now stationed at the entrances on the first floor and will run an electronic wand over visitors to detect weapons and other metal.
