I don't know if it's my age, my affinity for imitating a sloth, or my overall reluctance to spend any money on myself, but lately, I don't seem to be my same old adventurous self. BC (Before Covid) I'd be packed and out the door at the drop of a hat, but I seem to have lost my hat.

We had visitors every day this week. A couple from Oklahoma City and two couples from Seminole, Oklahoma. One of the couples had been to the museum about 35 years ago and brought their friends. He told me to start from the beginning with the history because they didn’t remember after all this time. A mother and son came that were camping at Roman Nose. She home schools her four children. The teenagers were doing other stuff so she brought him. He was quiet but I could tell he was listening. Then a group from Watonga came while I was giving the tour to the group from Seminole.

Okla. Hall of Fame Scholarship

For the twelfth year, The Oklahoma Hall of Fame will be rewarding the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Scholarship to one Oklahoma high school senior. The $6,000 scholarship, which is distributed over a four-year period, is based on the student’s leadership roles, civic/community involvement, academic achievement, and knowledge and pride of our great state.

2022 SWOSU Charitable Hunt Raises $67,000

The 3rd Annual Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) Charitable Hunt was held on September 16 in Devol, Oklahoma. The Hunt raised over $67,000 for the benefit of the SWOSU Department of Parks and Recreation Management.
