Why I Love Halloween

Ah, Halloween–a time that tries the souls of Martha Stewart wannabes such as me. This is the one time I ignore my inner couch potato and just go for it. When our children were small, we moved to South America; a land of continuous warm weather interrupted only by short bursts of rain.

Has Watonga Become A Wedding Destination?

Tatsuo Sasaki and Mary Shennum were married at a city park in Watonga on Thursday, October 3. They are 80 years old. They met when she was 21 and he was 22 when they played in a symphony orchestra; she played the bassoon while he played percussion, primarily timpani and marimba.
