Munson Comments on Public Education Audit

OKLAHOMA CITY – House Democratic Leader Cyndi Munson, DOklahoma City, released the following statement after the Governor’s most recent executive order to audit public education funding.

Germans From Russia to Hold Founder’s Day Event

On April 11, the Central Oklahoma Chapter of the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia is celebrating its 43rd year. This organization was founded to investigate and preserve our heritage and to pass it on to new generations.

Mullin Confirmed as Head of Homeland Security

WASHINGTON Markwayne Mullin, confirmed Monday by the U.S. Senate as the next Secretary of Homeland Security, becomes the first Oklahoman named to a presidential cabinet position since 2018, when Scott Pruitt concluded his brief stint as director of the Environmental Protection Agency.

Volunteer Event to Hit Alleys in All Quadrants of Town

In tandem with the citywide cleanup April 13-17, there will be a volunteer alley cleanup on Saturday, April 18.This is an effort to clear alleys of longstanding trash, junk and brush.
