Long Awaited Parking Open

The freshly paved parking lot at Watonga High School was unveiled just in time for Friday night’s football scrimmage vs Hennessey. The lot has been under construction since last spring, but should be ample for the school as well as any sporting events scheduled in the future.

City Manager Demoted, Council Members Resign

Following a protracted executive session August 15 where Watonga City Council members discussed the future of City Manager Karrie Beth Little, the motion was made, seconded and passed to change her job description to interim manager until a successor could be found.
