Embattled Cop Fired

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations has confirmed a second investigation into a Watonga police officer.This case centers on actions captured on the officer’s body camera on June 2 when police were called to assist with an unruly patient who was refusing transport.

Ragsdale Named Mayor

The Watonga City Council met in regular session Tuesday in front of a packed house, there to witness a meeting that was anything but regular.The first item on the action agenda was to select a mayor following the abrupt resignation of Bill Seitter after a special meeting August 15.
