Long Awaited Parking Open

The freshly paved parking lot at Watonga High School was unveiled just in time for Friday night’s football scrimmage vs Hennessey. The lot has been under construction since last spring, but should be ample for the school as well as any sporting events scheduled in the future.

Embattled Cop Fired

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations has confirmed a second investigation into a Watonga police officer.This case centers on actions captured on the officer’s body camera on June 2 when police were called to assist with an unruly patient who was refusing transport.
