A Lamp to My Feet

Body
I want to take a break from Zechariah this week and comment on something very important to what all of us need in order to study the Bible effectively. Just as every skilled craftsman has the tools of his trade and some special tools to make his job easier, so we must have the same things in order to get the most out of our Bible study.

What a nice Rainfall we had last week. I received 1 1/2" north of town and was grateful for every last drop I got. I am certain many others were feeling the same way. My beautiful Daffodils are in full bloom and such a welcome site to see. I don't think I will have any Hyacinths this year but I can live with that. We had a full week at the Sr. Center and our Volunteer Home-bound Meal deliverers were busy!. We did gain a new member and are pleased to have her with us. Prayers and Condolences are extended to the family of Donnie Mason who passed away last week. We know he will be missed by all. The Matrons Rook Club met at the Sr. Center on Saturday. Hosts were Linda Stuard and Fay Delmer Thomason and a fun time was had by all who were there. We get together and play Rook on the 3 rd. Saturday each month and have been doing so for many years. Prayers are being requested for Joy Strong, Danny Wright, Bob Howard, Terrell & Carol Jean Coffey, Jami Sisson Boling, Eldon & Donna Mae McCumber. Until next time, take care and don't let the wind blow you away and by all means be safe.

Make Me A Perfect Alibi

Today I'd like to write about what I've learned while watching several murder mysteries such as Columbo, Monk, Psych, Murder She Wrote, etc. Did you know you can use an electric blanket to keep the body warm and throw the coroner off on the time of death? Be careful how you try to make a place look like a burglary took place.

Ferguson Features

Body
We had two people from Jones, OK, come by this week. A mother and son were at Roman Nose and it was too cold to do anything outside so they chose to come to the Ferguson Home. She said she loved looking at old things. Her son looked to be middle school age and seemed to be interested in the history of the Fergusons.
