Route 66 Museum Exhibit to Open

CLINTON, Okla. — On Saturday, July 27, at 2 p.m., the Oklahoma Route 66 Museum in Clinton will host the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.The Oklahoma Route 66 Association will induct two special Oklahomans into the Hall of Fame. The inductees will be announced at the ceremony.

Hi, everyone! I hope you’ve been able to stay cool during the past week. I’ve been inside mostly. We had to make several trips to OKC for doctor’s appointments. Thank goodness our car has a good air conditioner.They are talking about possible rain in a few days. That might be nice.

Council Hears End of Year Numbers

The Watonga City Council met Tuesday evening in regular session. There were six or eight residents in the gallery to observe while the council handled the people’s business.With Mayor Bill Seitter away on vacation, Vice Mayor Travis Bradt led the proceedings.
