According to a probable cause affidavit issued by the Blaine County District Attorney’s office, Nathaniel Reyes, 22, of Canton was taken into custody February 16. He is charged with aggravated possession of child pornography, a felony, and possession of obscene material, also a felony.

There were very few surprises on Super Tuesday in Blaine County or Oklahoma, for that matter. In the county the presidential primary went as expected, with former President Donald Trump outdistancing other contenders in every party by a wide margin. Amongst Republicans, Trump pulled in 85.
The City of Geary swore in five new police officers March 1. The City of Geary held a swearing-in ceremony March 1 for incoming police officers. “It’s always a good day when we hire police officers,” said Mayor Waylan Upchego. Jonathon DeJesus was sworn in as the school resource officer for Geary schools.
Patt Ward Curtin (L) receives a lifetime achievement award plaque Feb. 29 from Watonga CIty Manager Karrie Beth Little. Curtin is known as an educator and thespian whose dedication to the LIberty Theatre and play production brought the theater group and the town to prominence and won several national awards.
