Lunchtime Learning Sessions Announced for 2021

The Blaine County OSU Extension Center will be offering Lunchtime Learning Sessions once a month in each county for the new year. Sessions will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the Watonga Library in Blaine County.

City of Watonga Changes to Municipal Government

On June 11, 2019 the Citizens of Watonga voted to approve the transition in the form of government, from an aldermanic form of government to a council-manager form of government. Since then, the current City Council has worked to prepare for this transition.

Despite challenges ranging from virtual and in-person learning to new technology, Batt says he’s impressed with how the teachers have adapted and appreciates the support of the community.

There have been limited quantities starting out. Even once you have the vaccine, it is vital that you continue to take precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19 everyone should continue to wear a mask, wash their hands and watch their distance. These actions, in conjunction with the vaccine plan, can make a huge difference in keeping our families and communities safe and healthy in the long term.
