Well, I did it again. This is probably the tenth year in a row, and that's being conservative, that I let Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday slip through my fingers without snagging a bargain. Honestly, I'm never in the mood to shop when things are on sale.

Following a shooting incident in Watonga on Oct. 21, Issac Sanders is on the road to recovery. Sanders was struck in the head by a bullet during the incident. The manner of injury and how he came to be shot is still under investigation and no information has been released about it.

Demonstrating Care

Members of Watonga 4H toured the local pet groomer, Furocious Beast, owned by Darci Cash at their November meeting. Members were taught basic hair and skin routines for both dogs and cats. They learned how to wash and comb a pet, trim their nails, and dental care.
