Hi everybody! I hope you are all doing well. Those weather men did it to me again last week. Those 2" of snow were almost gone before any hit the ground. One again I closed the center on Friday because of projected snowfall and possible ice only to find it was not bad at all.

Sure do wish people would close that North Gate so maybe the wind would not be so cold. The sunshine looks great but the cold wind still makes people shiver. Hope everyone remembered to set their clocks ahead. I thought I had all of mine set untilI looked at my watch.

One thing I've learned over the years is I spend a lot less time fretting over nonsense, but I'm spending more time worrying about things I can't control and scaring myself to death via the Internet.

It’s been a quite week at the museum. I’ve done a lot of research and office work. I took some table cloths and napkins home and laundered them. Some hadn’t been used in years and were quite dusty. We received a request on our website from a group wanting a tour in April.

The intersection of Clarence Nash and Russworm, one of the busiest in northwest Oklahoma, was transformed last week when its traffic light began functioning with a normal red/green pattern instead of the flashing four-way stop it had been for years.

Beloved high school English teacher Michele Wood died unexpectedly on Friday, March 11. A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, March 23 at the Watonga High School commons at 3:30 p.m.; the community is invited to attend.
