Quick Thinking, Actions Recognized

Two Blaine County employees were recognized in a surprise presentation Monday during the county commissioners’ meeting.The two women, Stashia Wilcoxson and Stacey Walters, were recognized for their quick thinking and action when on December 3, a citizen had a medical emergency in the court room.

Animal Cruelty Charges Dropped

Charges against Caymon Wieczorrek have been dropped, according to Eric Epplin, an assistant district attorney from Canadian County. Wieczorreck had been charged with animal cruelty stemming from poor conditions and failure to dispose of a deceased dog at the Watonga dog pound.
