CLO Denies Property Sale in Kingfisher County

The Commissioners of the Land Office (CLO) this week voted to deny the sale of about 625 acres north of Okarche in Kingfisher County. There was much local speculation that the property could have been converted into a possible hazardous waste disposal site.

Caremark Agrees to $5 Million Settlement

OKLAHOMA CITY – Attorney General Gentner Drummond has announced a settlement of more than $5 million with CVS Caremark to resolve allegations that the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) paid Oklahoma pharmacies less than what the medications actually cost.

Board Approves $1,000 Stipend for Teachers, Staff

When the Watonga School Board met Monday in regular session, one item on its agenda was to spread some holiday cheer to its certified and support staff in the form of a $1,000 stipend. This stipend is in addition to the stipend delivered to staffers in November and the beginning of the year stipend.
