By Brenda SteinThe holiday spirit has really come to Watonga. Friday night was the tree-lighting ceremony at Centennial Park, with wagon rides to the Ferguson Chapel and Ferguson Home. Then Saturday morning, children had Breakfast with Santa at the Noble House Bed and Breakfast.

Board Approves $1,000 Stipend for Teachers, Staff

When the Watonga School Board met Monday in regular session, one item on its agenda was to spread some holiday cheer to its certified and support staff in the form of a $1,000 stipend. This stipend is in addition to the stipend delivered to staffers in November and the beginning of the year stipend.
