Okeene Man, 2 Children Die in Thursday-Night Crash

OKEENE – Three males died, including two children, when their car collided headon with a semitruck near Okeene late Thursday night. Okeene resident Sergio Adrian Lopez Garcia, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene, as were two boys ages 11 and 6 whose names were withheld by authorities.

WATONGA — In fall 2019, two home invasion cases rocked the Watonga community and targeted elderly citizens for robbery and, in one case, rape. Now, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is asking the public for help in these cases, which remain unsolved nearly two years later.
