The Results are In: Blaine County Elections

The local elections for the city council and school board for Geary and Watonga have finally come to a close. Watonga had four city council seats open and contested this year in Wards 1, 2, 3, and at large.

Newspaper Easter Egg Hunt Winner

Emery Nicole Tschida won the Watonga Republican's Easter egg hunt last week! Tschida won two Easter egg baskets for finding all of the Easter eggs hidden throughout last week's issue of the newspaper.

Geary Emergency Response Center Newly Renovated

My Colonoscopy Journey

The main topic this week is colonoscopies. For those of you young enough to not know what that is: YAY! A colonoscopy is where you are at your most vulnerable and naked in a flimsy piece of cloth that passes for a gown.
