Okla. On Track for Worst Month of Pandemic

Oklahoma is on track to have its worst month of the COVID-19 pandemic so far, based on the number of cases and reported deaths in the first half of January. By Friday, the state had recorded more than 57,000 new cases of coronavirus in the first two weeks of 2021.

With enthusiasm in her voice, Spanish teacher Mrs. Karen Stein was eager to talk about her love for teaching and show us why she was chosen as this month’s Outstanding Teacher. Originally from Peru, Stein came to the United States in 2002.

Oklahoma gas prices have risen 5.0 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.00/g today, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 2,294 stations. Gas prices in Oklahoma are 15.3 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 25.0 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
