Historical Society to Hold Annual Juneteenth Commemoration

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Historical Society will commemorate Juneteenth with a free educational program at the Oklahoma History Center on Thursday, June 19. Redlands Celebrates 2025 Graduates

EL RENO — Redlands Community College recently celebrated the class of 2025 with the graduation of nearly 200 students during its Spring commencement ceremony that included a keynote address from Chancellor Sean Burrage, the chief executive officer for the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education.

Memories of the Brave

Memorial Day 2025 was commemorated by the American Legion Post at the IOOF Cemetery in Blaine County.There were prayers, patriotic songs, speakers who reminded those in attendance what the day was for, and the stirring 21-gun salute and an echoing rendition of ‘Taps.
