State Hits Over 445,000 Cases

Death Toll Passes 6,750

As of April 30, there have been 447,279 confirmed cases of the Covid-19 virus in the state, up by 1,630  since last reported by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. There were 72 deaths since last reported by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. This brings the death toll to 6,788. 10,396 active cases.  430,095 recovered and 25,877 hospitalized.

In Blaine County, according to emergency management officials, there are 35 active cases.

There are 8 cases in Canton; 3 cases in Geary; none in Hitchcock; two cases in Longdale; one case in Okeene and 21 in Watonga. The cases are noted by zip code, so those ill may not live inside the city limits, just in the vicinity.

There are 32,289,049 cases cumulative reported nationally, up 58,199 since the last numbers were released by Johns Hopkins University. There have been 575,194 deaths in the United States, up 854 since last report.
