Delbert Young Pearson who passed away Saturday September 4, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Kingfisher, OK at the age of 87. He was a simple man and never wanted much and he was always there for anyone who needed help.

Nadine Pearson

Nadine Pearson was born November 24, 1934, in Guthrie, OK to Jack Chester and Leona Agnes (Montgomery) Comby. She passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021, with her girls by her side at her home in Watonga at the age of 86. She graduated from Watonga High School. She was united in marriage to Delbert Young Pearson March 20, 1953, in Watonga and he preceded her in death September 4, 2021, at Kingfisher. She was a stay-at-home mom until going to work at the Watonga Medical Clinic as a receptionist. She later worked at Opportunities, Inc., Buel Hoar Enterprises, then went to work for Blaine County Election Board retiring after 24 years of service. Nadine enjoyed shopping, acting and theater, crossword puzzles and cooking. Christmas was her favorite time of the year, but would decorate her house for every holiday. She and her sister Shirley coowned and operated The Christmas House in San Angelo, TX from 1984-1988. Nadine won many state, regional, and national acting awards with Watonga Community Theater. She was a charter member serving on the Board of Directors of the Watonga Community Theater and also served on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Community Theater Association. She and Delbert both attended the Cowboy Church. Her main focus was her family and spending time with them. She was a very caring. loving and giving person to family and friends. She was very well known for her quick wit and sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents,

Carol Ann (Bradford) Wray

Carol Ann (Bradford) Wray was born on May 5th, 1935 to Leslie Lloyd (Pete) Bradford and Leta Viola (Gilmore) Bradford in Amorita, Kansas. She passed away peacefully in Kingfisher on September 16th. She was raised on the farm north of Watonga and graduated with the Watonga class of 1953. Carol attended business school in Wichita, Kansas. She worked in the Blaine County clerk's office. She married James Edgar Wray on February 18th, 1955. To this union 2 daughters were born, Catherine Ann and Jane Ellen. Carol was a stay-at-home mom and kept books for Jim's business. Carol was an avid reader and after Jim passed away she worked part time at the Watonga public library. She worked until past her 80th birthday when she contracted West Nile in 2016. Then her home became the Cimarron Nursing Center in Kingfisher where she was loved by many and loved them back. Carol was born with a hole in the upper two

Traditional wake services for Mary Helen Morales, 61, of Watonga, Oklahoma will begin at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Indian Baptist Church in Watonga, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the same venue with Reverend Gerald Panana officiating. Interment will follow at Canton Indian Mennonite Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, Oklahoma.

Edna Mildred Little Sanders

Edna Mildred Little Sanders was born October 17, 1927 to William Evan and Dorothy Granger Little. In the early years, the family lived in San Pedro, California, then moved to a farm east of Geary when she was a young child. Mildred was the second oldest of 8 children. Mildred graduated from Geary High School in 1946. She married Carl Martin Sanders on August 23, 1947 and moved to the family farm south of Greenfield. After the passing of Carl’s parents, Carl and Mildred continued the family farming operation and this is where they raised their family.
