Steven Allen Ward was born February 11, 1960, in Neosho, Missouri. He passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, in Yukon, Oklahoma at the age of 61.

Clayton Eugene Dorris, 60, of Bridge Creek, died August 29, 2021, in Norman. The son of Clayton “MC” Ivan Dorris and Mildred Pearl (Pakerson), he was born April 18, 1961 in Oklahoma City.

Traditional all-night wake services will be held for Guy Hicks, Jr., 72, of Watonga, OK at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at the Watonga Indian Baptist Church with Pastor Waylan Upchego officiating. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the same venue with interment to follow at Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, OK.

John Walter Lehmann was born April 09, 1935 to Herman and Helen (Entz) Lehmann on their family farm near Greenfield, OK. He passed away peacefully on August 19, 2021 at Spanish Cove in Yukon, OK.

Karroll Douglas Kitson was born June 4, 1942, to W.J. “Cap” and Saphronia R. (Hackett) Kitson in Hammond, OK. He passed away Friday August 20, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Kingfisher, OK at the age of 79. Karroll attended Geary Schools and served in the US Navy. He worked for Rock Island Railroad, farmed, worked with cattle, painted housed and water towers, and worked for the county as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed mowing yards, raising his dogs, restoring old cars and tractors, riding his Harley, and playing music. Karroll enjoyed visiting churches especially the Cowboy Church and the New Life Assembly of God Churches in Geary, and the Holiness Church in Gracemont. He was active in the church in many capacities.

Keith Dwayne Fountain - A purveyor of countless tales - true, tall and in-between. Born in Watonga, Oklahoma to Marvin and Dessie Fountain on August 7, 1948, Keith ended his earthly journey on August 13, 2021.

Gale Andrew Walker was born on June 30, 1946, on the farm in Oakwood, OK to William Andy Walker and Lula May (Rhodes) Walker. Gale left this life for his heavenly home on August 14th, 2021. He was one of seven children born into the Walker family. Gale attended school in Oakwood and graduated in 1964. After high school he attended school in Okmulgee. On April 18, 1981, Gale married Nancy Williams from Sharon Springs, Kansas in Las Vegas. Gale and his wife made their home in Fay before moving to Watonga in 2013. The couple had 5 children between them.

Edward W. Lewis, 91, died Thursday, August 5, 2021 at The Ranch House in Garden City, Kansas.

Funeral services for Mildred Iris (Spain) Oyler, 91 year-old Watonga, Oklahoma resident, will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2021, 10:00 A.M. in “The Chapel” of Lockstone Funeral Home of Thomas with Kayson Oaks officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Fay, Oklahoma, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Thomas.

Chauncey was born on May 27, 1972, in Watonga, Oklahoma. He passed away on July 16, 2021, in Gallup New Mexico.
