Carroll Forrest Thompson was born February 23, 1935 to Carroll Thomas and Thelma Louise (Dean) Thompson south of Geary, OK. He passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 at his home in El Reno, OK at the age of 86. Forrest graduated from Geary High School in 1953. He was united in marriage to Barbara Ruth Greear June 20, 1956 in Kingfisher, OK and she preceded him in death April 9, 2015 in Oklahoma City. They lived in Sayre, Little Rock, AR, Nebraska, in Okeene for 20 years, and in 1978 they moved to El Reno. When Denise was about 10 years old, he restored a 1947 Porterfield Airplane and flew it for 3 years and later sold it but has kept up with the plane’s whereabouts. Forrest worked for the Rock Island, Missouri Katy, and Union Pacific Railroads. He and Barbara were member so the Roaming Buffaloes RV Group and members of the First Christian Church in El Reno. He was a member of the Telegraph Operators Club and would go to schools and the El Reno Museum and demonstrate. Forrest enjoyed going to Airshows and Tractor Shows. Funeral service for Delores Willene (McNutt) Stinson 99 year old Oakwood resident will held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Fay Auditorium in Fay, with Michael Didier and Jared Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery north of Fay, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Thomas.

Stephen Clyde Courtney was born on May 13, 1958 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Clyde Herman and Sue E. (Kirksey) Courtney Brown. He passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 in Watonga, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years. Stephen worked at numerous jobs during his life, a certified diesel mechanic, smog control technician, shop Forman for Cerruti Trucking company, derrick hand, farmer and then at 24 years of age went to California to attend Bible School. Stephen cared for his father for 15 years and enjoyed driving his jeep in the mountains with his son through the Rubicon mountains in California. Stephen attended church at Dill City Baptist Church and was a Bible teacher. Stephen had a big heart and enjoyed his family. Survivors include his siblings; Larry Courtney

Larry Lee Killian was born July 6, 1941 at Lawton, Oklahoma to Walter Lawson and Wanda Lee Shipman Killian and passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at the age of 79. He grew up 12 miles east of Lawton at Bell City Grocery. Larry graduated in 1960 from Central High School in Central, Oklahoma. In 1963 he joined the United States Air Force and was discharged in 1969. Larry lived in various parts of Oklahoma and lived the last few years back in Watonga, Oklahoma. Larry had many professions such as butcher and working in the oil field. He owned and operated The Bull Chute western store in Watonga, Oklahoma for many years with his wife Trish.

Richard LaRod (Dick) Seitter passed from this life on February 5, 2021. He was born June 14, 1928 to Christopher & Luella Seitter in Geary, Oklahoma. After high school, he joined the Army and served in Korea. He returned to Geary in 1952, met and married the Home Economics teacher, Doris Evalou Fritz in April 1953. They remained married until her passing in October of 2012. They began their marriage in Oklahoma and then moved to California, where Dick was a barber, and Doris a teacher. They adopted 3 children Mike, SuzAnne and David. Dick was a wonderful father and role model, teaching all three of them to be good Christians.

Georgia attended Watonga Public Schools and was a resident of the Watonga community for 50+ years, where she was a dietary assistant.

Francis John Pavlu was born April 2nd, 1932 on the farm Southeast of Okeene to Frank and Hazel (Hendricks) Pavlu and passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the age of 88. He was a resident of the Okeene community for his entire life where he was a farmer and rancher as well as owning his own trucking company and traveling across the U.S.

Linda Annette (Hogan) Wyatt 1957~2021

Linda Annette Hogan was born March 6, 1957, in Watonga, Oklahoma, to Thelma Lee Burkhalter (Brown) Hogan and Robert (Bobby) Hogan. Thelma passed away in 1963, and Bobby passed away in 2004. Roy Lee Wyatt and Memorial Wyatt adopted Linda and raised her as their own.
