Norma Darlene (Shipman) Pickett, age 89, passed away at her home in Houston, Texas on April 5, 2021. Norma was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on July 31, 1931. She was preceded in death by her mother Dora Sears Shipman, father Leonard Leon Shipman, sister Mary Shipman Majors, brother Vern Dale Shipman, and her husband, the love of her life for 64 years, James (Jim) Pickett, Jr.

Richard Lee Bernhardt was born January 11, 1935 on a homestead in Watonga, OK to William and Emma Bernhardt and passed away April 10, 2021 at the age of 86. He was a resident of the Okeene community for 64 years, where he was a Distribution Manager for Arkla Gas Co.

Glendola Mae (Marshall) Spencer was born May 23, 1937 to Paul and Esther Marshall in Watonga, OK. She passed away Monday, March 15th, 2021 peacefully in care of family at home in White City, Oregon at the age of 83.

Donna Jean Scott was born in Geary, Oklahoma on March 19, 1931 to Vernon and Georgia Stephens. She unexpectedly went to be reunited with the love of her life, Neil Scott, and into the presence of her Savior on March 31, 2021.

Grady Cole Haigler was born July 15, 1984 at Okeene, Oklahoma to Dean and Dawnna (Spangler) Haigler. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Provo, Utah after a sudden illness.

Edward Eugene Mosqueda was born on December 21, 1961 at Clinton, Oklahoma to Frank and Imogene (Howling Buffalo) Mosqueda. He departed this life on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with his family by his side.

Arlene Parker Higgins was born October 16, 1940 to Oather and Essie Williamson Parker in Lincoln, AR. She was the second of five children, having 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Arlene grew up in Stilwell, OK having gone through all the school years there except for about 6 months when she went to the 3rd grade in Gentry, AR.

Sheldon Leroy Hawk, Sr. was born on December 24, 1973 in Kingfisher, OK. He passed away on March 10, 2021. All Night Wake; Tri-County Building, Tuesday, 6:00 PM, March 16, 2021, Geary, OK. Cal was born October 7, 1931 and passed away March 10, 2021 at the age of 89. He was born to Jesse Lee and Bessie Butler; he was the youngest of six children.

Carroll Forrest Thompson was born February 23, 1935 to Carroll Thomas and Thelma Louise (Dean) Thompson south of Geary, OK. He passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 at his home in El Reno, OK at the age of 86. Forrest graduated from Geary High School in 1953. He was united in marriage to Barbara Ruth Greear June 20, 1956 in Kingfisher, OK and she preceded him in death April 9, 2015 in Oklahoma City. They lived in Sayre, Little Rock, AR, Nebraska, in Okeene for 20 years, and in 1978 they moved to El Reno. When Denise was about 10 years old, he restored a 1947 Porterfield Airplane and flew it for 3 years and later sold it but has kept up with the plane’s whereabouts. Forrest worked for the Rock Island, Missouri Katy, and Union Pacific Railroads. He and Barbara were member so the Roaming Buffaloes RV Group and members of the First Christian Church in El Reno. He was a member of the Telegraph Operators Club and would go to schools and the El Reno Museum and demonstrate. Forrest enjoyed going to Airshows and Tractor Shows. He was preceded in death by his parents,
