Congratulations to four Watonga wrestling state qualifiers: Dayson Cash Ayden Perez Brayson Gordon Dakota Cox Watonga’s Dakota Cox punched his ticket to state with fall in consecutive semis at 3A west regional.Ayden Perez will take the mat first for Watonga at state. He will compete at 6 p.m.

The Calumet boys basketball team is still in the hunt for an area crown. They will play Frontier at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Stride Center in Enid.Frontier comes into the game at 25-4 on the season, statistically even with the Chieftains’ 24-3. Each team had one game postponed or cancelled.

The Watonga Power Lifting Teams headed to a competition in Chandler Saturday and returned with gold! The girls’ team was the runnerr up in the small schools division for 2025. Way to go Watonga power lifters!

It was a bittersweet evening Friday when the Lady Eagles took the floor against Cashion. For many of the players, including Reese Coleman, Briah Holdge, and Jaidon Turney, it was their last career home basketball game, even as it was the first time some of them had played in the new gym.
