The Watonga wrestling team competed recently at the Mid-America Nationals. As a team, they finished 25th out of 37 teams, competing against mostly large school teams from across the country. In the gold bracket Malaki Perez finished 3rd and earned All-American status Ayden Perez finished 9th missing out on All-American status by one match . Dakota Cox finished 14th. In the silver bracket, Chris Garcia finished 6th and Tristan Dobbins finished 5th
