Geary Students Go Mad for March

The Geary 4th grade teacher made test prep a lot more fun by introducing a March Madness theme. There are wo tests: English/Language Arts and mathematics. Each test is 60 questions. Tests are un-timed, and students can take as much time as needed to complete the tests.

Watonga Elementary School named its Eagles of the Month for February. The honorees include: Cord Cowan - 5th grade; Summer Brumley - 3rd grade; Gavin Wigington - Kindergarten; Acelyn Cordova - 1st grade. The students are shown left to right.

Above Hayden Mayfield from Calumet Public Schools took part in the People of Oklahoma Oil & Natural Gas 3-Point Competition during the first session of the Basketball State Championships at the Big House. $1,000 will go to the school's science & math departments courtesy of OERB - Oklahoma Energy Resources Board Below: Dalton Belcher (L) and Hunter Arnold (R) were each named conference MVPS in the Washita Valley Conference during the 2023-24 basketball season.

Geary Season Ends at Regionals

Congratulations to the Watonga Eagle state qualifiers in wrestling: Brayson Gordon 113 pound weight class; Dakota Cox in the 120 pound weight class; Ayden Perez in the 150 pound weight class; and Malaki Perez in the 285 weight class. Dayson Cash in the 190 pound weight class was a state alternate Team finished 6th out of 27 teams.
