The Geary cross country teams had 40 runners compete Saturday at the Chisholm/OBA meet in Enid. Rylan Peralta won the high school boys Class A race. Also receiving medals were high schoolers Randi Upchego and Malena Beaver along with third grader Lillianna Albiston.

It was a big day for the Geary Cross Country teams Sept. 16 at the North Rock Creek meet in Shawnee. The high school girls finished in second place in the “Class A” race. The high school boys team finished in a threeway tie for first but the tiebreaker placed them second.
