Geary graduate Haylee Gormley signed her intent to compete Thursday at the Stegall Long Field House in Geary. The exceptionally talented basketball player will take her game on the road to Northern Oklahoma College.

Geary graduates Matthew Martin and Elijah Pollard have signed intents to play at different universities. Martin, a standout basketball player and team leader, will run track at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva.

Watonga Eagles track team traveled May 5-6 to Western Heights in Oklahoma City to compete in the class 2A regional championship. The Lady Eagles track team was recognized as Academic State Champions. The men’s team placed fourth overall in class 2A.

The Geary High School girls basketball team was recognized by the OSSAA with an Academic Achievement Award. They maintained over a 3.5 GPA and were ranked in the upper 1/3 of their classification. Congratulations to a hard working team of athletes who make the best of life on and off the court!

TheWatonga Eagles varsity defeated Crescent 5-1 on Friday. Watonga Eagles Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning, when KJ Estep doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs. Talen Smith took the win for Watonga Eagles varsity.
