Congrats to our Lady Eagles Powerlifters who competed well at regionals, every girl was able to set a personal record and finished 4th out of 27 teams for A-2A regionals. Coach Watson is very very proud of them!
The wining tradition in Geary wrestling starts young. Parker McSperitt and Lilli Albiston did very well at the Oklahoma Kids Wrestling Association State Championships. McSperitt was state runner up and ended her season with a 30-1 record. Albitson won fourth place in the meet.

The Watonga Eagles wrestlers left the state meet with a third place finish for Ernesto Duenez. in weight class 190 The state wrestling meet was held Feb. 24-- 25 at Oklahoma City.

Watonga Girls Basketball played Hennessey on Saturday Feb. 18 in District 1, winning by 39 points, 72-33. They will next play Merritt at 6 p.m. Feb. 23 in Hennessey. The winner of that game will take on the winner of the Hobart/Fairview matchup.

The Watonga Eagles wrestlers left the regional tournament with four wrestlers moving on to next week and finished in seventh place of 31 teams. Five team members placed but one came up just shy of qualifying for state meet. In weight class 144 Ayden Perez placed fifth.

On senior night at Geary High School, the Lady Bison started the night off with a big W, smacking Sharon Mutual 53-38. The Lady Bison will next play in the district playoffs with tipoff at 6 p.m. Feb. 10 at Calumet. Their opponent is still undetermined.
