•A $5 million bond issue to bridge the gap between how much the insurance company will pay and the cost of construction •The insurance company will pay $11,736,547•From that, architectural fees must be paid. An architect is required by law for construction, and the fees are based on the bid.

Homegrown Superstar

Kyler Mathis, 26, was raised in Watonga and graduated from WHS in 2017. He took some college classes at Northern Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Southwestern before coming back to Watonga in 2019. That is about as close to standard as Kyler Mathis ever got.

When the Geary School Board met on Monday in regular session, its first item of business was cake.The board had refreshments on hand to commemorate the retirement of Ted Hicks who had been the maintenance man at the school district for 25 years.

CTTC will offer nine Motorcycle Safety Courses over the next seven months. The class will be held on the newly painted track using the school’s six new motorcycles.The first class is March 28 and 29.
