SWOSU Announces Local Honor Roll Students

Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford and Sayre have announced the Dean’s honor roll for the 2020 spring semester. Students listed on the President’s Honor Roll earned all A’s in 12 or more hours during a semester with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher with no grade lower than a “C”.

Council Takes Up Solar Panel Question, Again

The City of Watonga met May 19 in regular session. The council and those in attendance made use of the upstairs meeting room at City Hall, a change from previous meetings held in the auditorium in that building.

Hey again everyone! I hope your week has been going well so far. Things are pretty quiet at the Center. If it wasn’t for the cooks and those carrying out Meals on Wheels, we wouldn’t have any excitement at all. We see a few people when they pick up their meals to go. Sometimes we take it out to their car and sometimes they come inside the door. Anyway, it is good to see them and know they are doing ok.

Oil Jumps 11% On Signs Of Recovery

NATIONWIDE- U.S. benchmark oil prices surged by 11 percent early on Monday to a two-month high of over $32 a barrel amid signs of demand recovery and accelerated production cuts from all oil producers, making a repeat of last month’s negative WTI Crude prices a day before expiry increasingly unlikely.
