Powered by three top-12 finishes from seniors Riley Coleman, Jocelyn Turney and Caitlin Parker, the Watonga girls cross country team powered to the state championship in the 3,200-meter run last week in Edmond. Two other high finishers gave the Watonga girls five finishes in the top 20.

State Passes 140K Coronavirus Cases

As of November 10, there were 140,157 confirmed cases of the Covid-19 virus in the state, according to the Oklahoma State Department of Health. 20,632 of those are active. There were 7 deaths reported in the last 24 hours. This current death toll stands at 1,451.

Oklahoma gas prices have fallen 3.4 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $1.77/g today, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 2,294 stations. Gas prices in Oklahoma are 8.3 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 52.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
