Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I was sorry to hear there have been several new cases of corona detected recently. I think it has finally made it to Blaine County. Things were pretty quiet around the Center this week. we only had one person in to quilt and it was Jennie Castleberry.

Come on out and see our decorations for Thanksgiving here at the Ferguson house. We had a lovely donation made in Memory of Norita Curtin to the house by her friend Mr. Rice. We survived the ice storm with little damage.

Cy Walters Signs with NWOSU

A Debt of Gratitude

On Nov. 11, 1918, Allied nations and Germany signed an armistice to officially end World War 1. There is no one alive today to thank for their service in this war. The last known U.S. veteran of World War I was Frank Buckles who died Feb. 27, 2011, at the age of 110.

Pedestrian Dies From Auto-Ped Collision

A pedestrian died early Nov. 4 after he was fatally struck by a car west of Watonga. The pedestrian was walking east about 5:30 a.m. on the shoulder of US 270, halfmile west of County Road N2520 about 5 miles west of Watonga, according to a report by Oklahoma state trooper Jason Burch.
