It’s the season of ticks, and while most Oklahomans know how to ward off the creepy crawlers, tick bites are a common occurrence that can cause serious health implications.

Hello Readers! Monday’s Summer Reading program was so much fun! We had Extreme Animals bring some exotic animals to show. There was a Banana Python, he was about 8 feet long. A cute baby Lemur clinging to a teddy bear, a teenage Otter named Ariel, a baby Kanga Roo, a baby Alligator, and a Tortoise.

Ashley was busy this week doing reports, researching, and digitizing inventory. We have an old postage canceling machine that was found by Kenneth Canaday in the attic of his home in Watonga, Oklahoma. It appears the hour of 9:00 a.m. and day of May 5, 1913 is the last time the stamp was used.

Today we will be looking at Zechariah 3:6­10. Remember 3:1­5 is the 4th vision of the prophecy. It describes the attack of Satan against Joshua, the High Priest. In verses 6­10 we find a prophecy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God starts out giving instructions to Joshua.

Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing good this week. It sounds like we may have to begin wearing our masks again when we go out in the public. They said on tonight's news that 50% of cases they are seeing are the new variant of Covid.

A Houseful of Grands

It's been an interesting week to say the least. It started with two of our grandsons spending the night while several of their siblings attended church camp. Eight- and nine-year-old boys require a LOT of attention. And food. Lots of food.

End of Regular Session

The House adjourned its regular session on Friday, May 27, as we are constitutionally required to do. We are, however, still convened in special session but adjourned to a call of the chair.

Senate Review

Bills have been signed, the budget has passed, and the 2022 legislative session is officially adjourned. It was a busy one as we diligently worked to continue our rebound from the COVID-19 pandemic, approved legislation to diversify our economy and invested in critical needs across the state.

Ferguson Features

We had a couple from out of town come for a tour Saturday. I heard the lady say as she walked out the door she really enjoyed the tour. They said they looked us up on the internet. That makes us proud that people find us worth driving to Watonga to visit the museum.

Zechariah 3:1­5 is the Vision of the High Priest. Notice 3:1, “Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.” Here we find the purpose of Satan. He comes to accuse or oppose Joshua the high priest.
