This recuperating at home is getting expensive. As I said before, I never do anything the easy way. I seem to have a penchant for complicating everything and this surgery was no exception. The surgery, itself, went well.

Closing in on State Budget

By the time you read this article, we could have a state budget. House and Senate leaders are still negotiating, but we are very close to a final product.

Senate Review

We’re getting closer to the end of this year’s legislative session. As written in Oklahoma’s Constitution, the Legislature must adjourn by 5 p.m. on the last Friday in May. That’s just a couple of weeks away, but we still have some work to do finalizing the Fiscal Year 2023 budget.

We had two men on separate occasions to visit the museum this week. It was their first time to visit it and one said he was going to bring his wife for a tour when he could. The Watonga third graders all wrote us thank you notes.
