Valentine's Day has passed and I hope it was a pleasant one for you. Weather was still nippy on Sunday but the sun was shining and no snow like a week ago. Prayers and condolences go out to the family of one of our former senior participants.

Not much happened at the Ferguson Home this week with the winter weather. A big thanks to Donnie and his crew for keeping a watch on the heater and water at the museum.

WATONGA — Tilda and I are still getting used to each other. I don't understand her, and she doesn't care what I think. Ha! Ha! We're still working on the housebreaking thing.

Hi everybody! I hope you're all staying warm and feeling well. By the time this comes out in the paper we may all be covered up with snow. I hope it doesn't get too bad. John and I drove up to Canton Lake on Saturday afternoon. He fished (no luck) while I sat in the car with my book.

Ferguson Features

We had three visitors Saturday from Oklahoma City. The older man said he had been here a long time ago and they brought their daughter out to see the museum. They seemed very interested, he was interested in the antiques and the daughter in the history.

Dear editor, The most recent data from the Oklahoma State Department of Health indicates that 67% of Oklahomans are vaccinated against Coronavirus Disease 19 (COVID19), but only 40% of adolescents in Oklahoma have received one dose of vaccine and 34% have received two doses.

While David has been busy taking charge of remodeling the kitchen, I've been doing my best to avoid getting involved as much as I can. He still managed to drag me to the home improvement (HA!) stores here in town. I would rather have root canal surgery than look at another paint sample.
