I needed to get my column done for the week but first I had to decide on a subject. Sometimes it's easy to find one and sometimes it's a real struggle. I sat down in my recliner and started searching for ideas. I waved at David through the window as I watched him working in the yard.
Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing good. Things are continuing to go well at the center. We had 14 in for biscuits and gravy on Thursday. We had some special friends come in and eat with us- Cora and Tim Howard. Sure was good to see them again. They live in Arizona now.
We are still looking for site director. It’s 20 hours a week. You can call the museum at 580-623-5069 or me at 560-623-4826 for details.
People are beginning to notice the work Clay and Andrew are making on scrapping the exterior of the museum getting ready to paint.

Hi everyone! It has been a good week. I hope yours was good too. Monday Regina Glass and Karen Dugger carried the meals on wheels. Tuesday it was Mary Brown and Karen Dugger, Wednesday it was Brenda and Curt Stein, Thursday it was Janice Hood and Friday it was Vernon Brickman.
One of these days, I'm going to get my act together and lose this excess weight for good. Really. Don't laugh. It could happen. Of course, the odds of that happening are roughly the same as me finding Bigfoot, winning the lottery, or never having to go on another diet.
For several weeks now, we have had faith building lessons from the book of Daniel in the Old Testament. Folks, we aren’t finished with Daniel yet. In Daniel 4 we read of God dealing with Nebuchadnezzar, the most powerful king of that day. You have read or heard of the 7 wonders of the ancient world.
Dang, getting old sucks. It isn't for the faint of heart and it's definitely not for sissies. Can I even say that anymore? Does that offend someone nowadays? Shoot, I'm too old to have to worry about things like that.
