Buffy and Buford made their first appearance at Homecoming activities. They performed with the cheer team and greeted students and fans in the stands. Tryouts were recently held to select the mascots. The new mascot costumes were purchased by an anonymous donor.

Geary cross country teams recently competed in Watonga in a meet that featured over 40 schools and over 1,000 runners. The high school girls placed 16th and the middle school girls placed 14th. Individually, senior Matthew Martin finished 43rd out of 192 runners.
