Easter and Wiggins Both Advance to 2020 Powerlifting State Tourney

The Watonga High School boys’ varsity powerlifting team had two Eagles rise to the occasion on Friday, March 6 at the 2020 Northwest Regional boys’ small school powerlifting tournament in Bridge Creek as junior Kerby Easter and senior Brandon Wiggins both qualified for the upcoming state tournament.

Bracket Contest Returns, New Prize Up for Grabs

Next Thursday marks the traditional start of this year’s NCAA men’s basketball tournament, which produces a lot of associated betting opportunities, many of which come in the way of bracket contests between friends, or in offices and bars.

Eagles’ Wrestling Looking to Make Noise at Class 3A Regional Tourney

The Watonga High School varsity wrestling squad is officially in postseason mindset this week as the Eagles will travel down the road to take part on Feb. 21-22 in the Class 3A West Regional Wrestling Tournament held at Geary High School’s Stegall-Long Fieldhouse.
