OG&E Scholarship Applications Now Open

OKLAHOMA CITY (Dec. 1, 2023) – Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company (OG&E) is encouraging high school seniors in Oklahoma and Arkansas to apply for the 2024 OG&E Positive Energy Scholarship. Applications will be accepted beginning Dec. 1, 2023, through Feb. 15, 2024. The OGE Energy Corp.

Dump Truck Purchased at Special Meeting

Watonga City Council met Nov. 27 in special session. The regular meeting scheduled for Nov. 21 was canceled because of lack of a quorum, or enough council member to do business. And there were a few significant items on the agenda.

Holly and Nicholas were excited. Today was the day they got to spend the whole day drinking hot cocoa their favorite way – with marshmallows and chocolate chips and piled high with whipped cream. It was a once-a-year holiday treat.

Hi, everyone! Hi, everybody! I hope you’ve had a good week. Mine was good until Friday which I spent at Watonga Mercy Hospital. Then they sent me by ambulance to OKC to Integris Hospital, where I am writing this news. I’m not sure when I’ll go home, hopefully today or tomorrow.
