Ribbons Fly at Newly Rebuilt Runway

After what has seemed like a very long wait, the runway at Watonga Regional Airport is fully operational and has been in the spotlight at its ribbon-cutting.
The Watonga cheerleaders were the state academic champions. This means that in 2A, this bunch of young ladies had the highest GPA in the state. was recently selected by her peers as October Staff Member of the Month for Geary Elementary. This is Ms. Hubbard's first year as a faculty member with Geary Public Schools.

OG&E Announces Scholarships

Oklahoma Gas and Electric has announced its deadline for next year’s award of its Positive Energy Scholarship Application. That deadline is Feb. 23, 2023. The scholarship offers $15,000 annually to students who are graduating high school seniors who live in and OG&E service area.
