Retired Educators Meet

The Caddo County Retired Educators held its monthly meeting Monday, April 10 at the Caddo Kiowa CTC. There were 12 members present along with one guest. The April devotion was presented by Karen Mason.

Ferguson Features

Things are moving at the TB Ferguson Home. Under guidance from President Connie Burcham and Board Member at Large Todd Lafferty, as of April 18, 2023, the Friends of the Ferguson Home now has an agreement with the City of Watonga, the owner of the TB Ferguson Home.

House Bill 2239 passed the Senate Energy and Telecommunications Committee this week and the Senate Appropriations Committee under the guidance of Senate author Sen. Darcy Jech.

Hi, everybody! It’s been another fast week. Time passes so quickly anymore! This week will be a short week for me, more doctor appointments. Oh, well, they’re keeping me going so I can’t complain. We are still taking names for the defensive driving class.

I had an idea for this week's column but, as usual, I forgot it before I was able to get it down on paper, dinosaurly speaking. I don't know about y'all but I have the inane ability to forget what I'm thinking, doing, or saying while I'm in the middle of thinking, doing, or speaking.
