I am spending way too much time on the phone with my new tech (non) support person, trying to figure out my new car's technology. I have spent countless hours, trying to make all these dadgum newfangled geegaws work.

A few weeks ago I said there had only been three owners of the Watonga Republican, I was wrong. Saturday while I was at the Ferguson Home I looked at an old newspaper that was so brittle I was afraid to handle it too much and read that there were two other owners.

Hi Everybody! How’s this week going for you? At least its been a little cooler. Well last Friday was our regular birthday dinner. We had quite a few in to eat, but mostly the meals are carried out. We had enough come in early to have two tables of cards going. One was Skip-Bo and one was canasta.

Hi everyone! Its already been a week. They go by so fast now. It seems like I just get one column written and it’s time to do another one. John has gone fishing today so it’s quiet in the house. I hope he catches some fish. Would make a good supper.

Two young men came by the museum Saturday. One of them grew up in Watonga and is now living in Alva. We are thankful that he came by to see the museum and brought a friend. The wood burning cook stove has markings on it stating Grand Company, January 15, 1901.
