We had a young man come to the museum this past week. He said he used to work for the Department of Corrections and during his training he learned when Oklahoma was still a territory prisoners were sent to Kansas to be jailed.

Hi everyone! I hope this finds all doing well. We can all be thankful we’re not in Louisiana right now. I feel so bad for all those folks and I’ll be keeping them in my prayers. John has kinfolk on the north side of the Lake Pontchartrain.

Beginner Football

It's that time of year, folks! It's the time of year when we look forward to watching our little ones trying to learn a new sport. The only thing we grandparents get more excited about is our annual physicals. At least with our physicals, we know something exciting will happen, like a colonoscopy.

We had a surprise Saturday. Mr. & Mrs. Ken Enlow were in the area for his class reunion and decided to see if we were open. They said it was nice to drive by and see the open flag flying in the wind. They are the family that donated the Cornish-American Organ last December.
