Eddie Sutton waited so long to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. He couldn't hang on long enough to make it to the ceremony. The man who led three teams to the Final Four and was the first coach to take four schools to the NCAA Tournament, died Saturday. He was 84.

Grant Williams Named as New Head Coach of Eagles’ Wrestling Program

Watonga High School has found its next head coach of the Eagles’ varsity wrestling program in Grant Williams, a Coweta High School and 23-year-old Oklahoma Wesleyan University alumnus. Williams was a standout wrestler at Coweta High School under Tigers’ varsity wrestling head coach David Gilstrap.
The Geary High School Lady Bison and Watonga High School Lady Eagles’ varsity basketball teams shake hands on Jan. 6 following a girls’ basketball game held at Watonga Gymnasium. All OSSAA-sanctioned activities in the state of Oklahoma have been officially canceled since March 26, including the Classes 6A-2A state basketball tournaments and all 2020 spring sports seasons.
