January 4 When the Blaine County Commission held its first meeting of 2023, there were two new faces at the table. Tracy Matli and Darryl Hicks had just been sworn in as new commissioners, filling the seats of retiring commissioners Raymond Scheffler and Mike Allen, respectively.

On Sept. 16,2022, the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office executed an arrest warrant in Okeene and took Randall Laubach into custody. Blaine County Sheriff Travis Daugherty said his office received an email from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Internet Crimes Against Children division.

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Agriculture is accepting applications for the USDA 1890 National Scholars Program, which aims to encourage students at 1890 land-grant universities to pursue agriculture career paths. The application deadline is March 1, 2024.

Politically involved nonprofits and committees without contribution limits spent $2.3 million to influence Oklahoma voters in 2023, rivaling the $2.95 million candidates put toward campaign expenses. State ethics rules cap candidate committee contributions at $3,300 per election.
