Watonga Girls Win Track Meet in Okeene

The Watonga Lady Eagles took first place Friday in a track meet down the road in Okeene. Watonga paced the large field with an overall team score of 136, comfortably ahead of second-place finishers Chisholm (73.5).

Fifth-grader Dallas Mata of Watonga Elementary school was one of the students chosen to be WES’s outstanding student of the semester. From his love for science to getting to make friends, Mata lets us know exactly why he was chosen to be one of the outstanding students.
